Aims of EUTI: EUTI wants to realize a union of all self-help and support groups for tinnitus, hearing problems, hyperacusis and Meniere's disease in Europe.
EUTI was founded in 2002 by representatives of self-help organizations from Austria, France, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland.
Another of EUTI's aims is to organize national and international meetings, which offer the opportunity to share recent knowledge and
results of research and discuss them. Training of volunteers and lay health workers is another item on the list of aims.
