You have found the EUTi website and its national association. By clicking any of the flags displayed you can access the information presented in the corresponding language. The only difference between the information given in the different languages is that you will also find a link the correspondent nations own website, and that you will be provided with information concerning ways of contacting the national tinnitus associations.

To incur tinnitus is to most people a very demoralizing experience. Every-day life can be dramatically changed, and to some, it can even be impossible to continue working, while other people hardly notice it at all. The experience is very individual and the sound, the noise or the phenomenon of tinnitus varies strongly between different persons.

The European Federation of Tinnitus Associations, EUTi, manages cooperation in the areas of treatment and scientific progress, between the different nations which are its members. EUTi is also working to create means and methods for the affected to contact each other, thereby increasing the understanding and enforcing the knowledge of those impaired by tinnitus. A vast effort is currently being made to create interactive methods on the Internet, as it is a good method of getting in touch with the impaired, especially with the young ones to whom tinnitus is becoming an increasingly usual problem.

If you go back to the frontpage and click the EUTi symbol you will get to the interactive EUTi website with a discussion forum both for the impaired and for anyone else who might be affected by tinnitus or just interested. Search it, and you will find friends in your own situation, as well as plenty of information concerning tinnitus and other related matters.

If you click on the link “To your national association” below you will be redirected to a site in your own language. On some of the national websites, discussion forums will also be added.
